my story/ I  was named Gwendoline I was born into a phyically abussive and disfunctional family, In my teenage yours I used to go to church and got to know the bible and started asking the priests question they went and told my parents I was causing trouble!!  I remember one of the questions were,   If Adam and Eve only had two sons where did cain's wife come from?? the priests couldn't or wouldn't tell me,   so I went
no more for a long time.  

 I left home at 15 years old I packed my bags and ran,  15yrs knowing nothing of life just abuse. I used to say my prayer to God and what I needed has always come to me?? In the bible I had trouble with putting Jesus before 'God'  big feeling this is wrong so looked up my parents culture my father is welsh so looked into celtic because bible says follow father's house so I did awhile it felt wrong I kept praying to 'God' but did not go to church.

I went to the beach about 18 years ago got badly sun burn. I was told to cover up head, shoulder, neck,back,  so for this long I have been wearing head covers and long dresses & hoods. I used to be called arab, about two year ago I walked into city mission for coffee & lunch I was asked if I was Muslim I said no you look like one this lady said I am !! she had no head cover  this word Muslim stuck in my head all the way home that was feb 01.   I started meeting this lady alot at the mission we use to talk about Muslim my new friend came from Iran.   I was interested after she said Muslims put 'God' first but it fightened me to call God Allah at first I was drawn like a magnet I wanted to know more so my friend took me to Mosque in Wellington. I talked to a couple of sisters there but I was leaving and moving to Foxton,  while in foxton I went on the internet and started really reading Islam and  all I could get my hand on in the library there was not many book on the subject,   more on the net. I learnt to prayer from www.islamway.com and downloaded the Koran into my computer studying, till January 02 said shahada to myself then felt ready I contacted the Palmerston Mosque and now we are moving to PN next week .OH my husband now Muslim too.

 I changed my name to Ayesha about two months ago a sister on the net gave me this name. I still reading a lot I understand why I looked into celtic because there is a lot of pagan things in the bible if I hadn't read up about celtic I wouldn't have seen so clearly you see people in the world today act like the bible fornication, adultery, incest, etc. they wrote that the prophets did these things that is an insult to 'God'  Al-lah chose good people with good hearts alhamdu lilah  .
